The one thing that keeps coming back to my mind is a few years back when John Bowker was named the opening day RF over Nate...struggled for a few games and was out. Done. Finished. So what if Burriss is our starting 2B on opening day? Or Huff at 1B? I'd rather management get evidence that its not going to work IMMEDIATELY so that we can make the long term solution that much quicker. And I'd think going 1-5 in our first six games against division opponents would grease the wheels of progress that much easier.
