He’s watching. Always watching. He knows all your secrets.
(Can’t stop talking about Melky Cabrera; my brain must be dying.)
More terrifying than waking up to Aaron Rowand sitting in my office chair...not that that happened. Can the Giants demand the MelkMan get in on Operation Panda this winter?
This is not impressive, Chris. No sooner have the Giants traded for him than you criticize, and criticize, and continue to criticize. If Melky Cabrera plays like last season, and there's every reason to think that he will, then the Giants have made a significant improvement even if Jonathan Sanchez eventually proves to be the second coming of Sandy Koufax. Why don't you just slow down and present the usual good baseball information, perspective and opinions which we all know that you are capable of?
There is NO reason to believe Cabrera will perform in 2012 the way he did in 2011. Looking at the numbers, 2011 veritably screams OUTLIER. We have every reason to believe Cabrera will play more like his career average numbers than a single, fluky season.
Also, fair warning, if the Giants do sign Willie Bloomquist, prepare yourself for an entire 'Creepy Willie' series.
