I just found out I'm going to Santo Domingo in January for 2 weeks. I would really like to see at least one baseball game. Do you have any information about how I could do that? Any helpful tips/hints/anything? I know it's like the playoffs or something so it might not work, though. Thanks!

The regular season here ends Dec 21. I'm not sure how long their postseason is, but I do know that el Serie del Caribe is here in Santo Domingo the first week of February. So you may get some baseball after all! I'll do some digging around and see what I can find for playoff scheduling.

Thank you very much! Do you happen to know if those playoff games usually sell out or how much they cost or anything?

This is so great, thanks!!! I hope we get to see a video next time you go to a game! :) Do you know where Daryl Maday went?? His last start was 10/20, and he said on Twitter his next start would be on 10/26, but he didn't make it and now he's not even on the Scottsdale roster anymore. And I haven't been able to find any info on what happened! An article on the Tiburones website said today that the reason Hector Sanchez was out a few games was because he had some physical discomfort, so hopefully he'll be better now and get more regular playing time again! And about Alberth Martinez, whoever put together the rosters on MLB.com probably just messed up. (Fla-Giant from MCC pointed this out.) The Juan Carlos Perez listed as playing for the Aguilas is the wrong one, so someone easily could have messed up listing Alberth Martinez with the Giants too. He's only been with the Padres for a couple years, he's still listed on the Eugene Emeralds roster on the website, and I haven't seen any transactions listed anywhere that said we signed him. And I think Jorge Bucardo is still recovering from some sort of shoulder injury?

I know that JC Perez's stats are his, because he's been posting stuff on his FB wall since the season began here to corroborate the stats. I'm positive the error in listing his birthplace is MLB.com's fault. Perez is from the area where Aguilas plays and he's been playing for that team the last few winters. As for Martinez, I'm assuming it's not an error. A few years ago, Andres Torres was listed under the Giants in the Puerto Rican Winter League and he had his Tigers stats for the prior year attached to him. Then he was with the Giants the next year. With Maday, I got some news about him during the season that I can't really comment on, but it surrounded his brief retirement during the regular season. I'm guessing it could be the same personal reasons that led to his retirement, or an undisclosed injury. AFL is pretty loosey-goosey when it comes to news not concerning the uber prospects.

Yeah, it's really annoying how little information you can find out about some minor league players...thanks!

Awesome work, Chris. Do you know when the Taiwan games are, and are they viewable?
