Although this is completely off-topic, I thought I'd share this tidbit of minor interest anyway. I was taking a break from some field work (I study biology) at this gas station in a tiny town outside of Syracuse, New York. I noticed a seemingly interesting statue. I approached it in order to figure out what it was. Low and behold, it was a statue of John McGraw. Apparently the tiny town I was in--Truxton, NY--is the man's birthplace. Being a long time Giants fan and a bit of a history nerd, this was quite the treat.
