Yeah, that is pretty similar to what I thought. He was worth giving a shot, especially when the offense was terrrrrrible.
Yup. I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to mea culpea about -- that the Giants had semi-useful near league-average-ish players that they should play?
I must have missed that line on the contract. I was never exceptionally pro-Bowker. I was even anti-Bowker at 1B.
I don't think my position on Bowker was ever all that crazy. I just wanted the team to give him a couple of shots. Playing him at 1B was always a bad idea.
