BCB Welcomes New Author

As the offseason churns away, I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our newest author (and first ever addition — whoa, prestigious!), Otis Anderson.

I’ve you’ve been reading McCovey Chronicles for as long as I have, you might have already noticed Otis’ work, or as he’s known on McC, ‘oldjacket’. Otis is a really smart (I like to refer to him as the Econ Guy™), funny, and passionate Giants fan. Otis is also one of the original Denkerites. But don’t hold that against him.

Otis, you were one of my favorite Running Backs of my childhood. I'm honored to be taking part in a blog with you. Can't wait to hear a football player's perspective on baseball. Chris. this was a brilliant idea.

He is on the wrong side of the pie/cake debate, so he's suspect. However, he's on the right side of the rush debate, so I'm torn. Anyways, congrats!

That's an easy one -- the Rush debate is worth being passionate about. I'm much more of an ideological agnostic on pie and cake, although I'm willing to play the double agent. Welcome Otis!
