I've been reading through the Capital Avenue Club blog, and commenting, because that space is obviously similar to this and statistically-centric. Anyway, boy are they sore. Maybe "the call" has battered their brains, but the overall sentiment is that Lincecum was "not outstanding" and "wild as f&$@." The Braves hitters handed Lincecum his 97 game score, 14 strikeout, 28% swing and miss percentage. I've seen the Freak do it too many times, to too many batters, to too many teams, to do anything other than giggle.

His Thrillness
His Thrillness

I think I read somewhere, either on Fangraphs or Hardball Times that they had done an in-depth statistical study that showed Braves fans, were and are, by nature, whiners. Science. Timmeh was filthy last night, although he looked a little shaky to start the game and got some help from Heyward swinging at a bad pitch that didn't advance the runner. Other than that, he was nasty and I think--put on my straw hat--looked better than Halladay did the night before.
