His Thrillness
His Thrillness

What makes this even worse is that Bork continues to bat him in the #2 hole, which means that instead of extra at-bats for Burrell and Ishikawa, wet get extra Franchez. Also nauseating, is that Kevin Frandsen put up better numbers in the more difficult league, and would have cost the Giants about 5.5 million less per year, maybe freeing up enough money to sign Carl Crawford. Sanchez has been very good on defense, but very pedestrian on offense. Chalk up another great signing for Sabean.

I knew his BAIP was low this season ( he has history of this) and but that 19.7% line dive rate was eye opening. I had not realized it has dropped to that level. Hair ball: As long as Panda “struggles” I doubt we Borky dramatically curtails F. Sanchez with the amount of Uribe playing time the team has.

Hairball, It's hard to say he's played himself out of the lineup mainly because the Giants really don't have anyone else to stick at 2B. If Uribe was healthy, then maybe, but he's been hurting lately. I'm holding out hope that Sanchez can at least get closer to his career averages on offense. He was once a pretty useful player, but his Giants career has been pretty blah.

The question is at one point, salaries aside, has he played himself out of the lineup? Rowand and Sanchez would probably both be great options off the bench, if Bochy could get that through his thicker than typical skull.
