I think I’m most thankful for a thriving minor league system that has gone from a feeder system for other teams to a strong and reliable source of young, quality ballplayers.
As long as Sabean backs off a little on trading guys like Alderson and Barnes over the next few years, they should be in good shape for quite a long time.
