Hi. It’s me, the offense from last season.
All hitters on the Giants with at least 100 plate appearances. The vertical dashed-line indicates a league average .330 wOBA hitter. It’s still not a pretty sight to look at/think about. I’m going to be really ticked when the Giants eventually release Fred Lewis. Other free thoughts, the mid-season pick-ups of Garko and Freddy Sanchez didn’t do much to augment our offense. Sadly, Freddy’s .274 wOBA was better than our 2B production before we acquired him, but he didn’t play enough to really make much of a difference.
Can you believe that this team actually thought Burriss was going to be a starter? Good times. Also, I’m not a huge Nate booster, but when you’re hitting like a 35-year-old Randy Winn on his way out, it’s probably not a great sign for your career.
