When I think of excellent changeups during my Giants&#039; lifetime, I think of Jason Schmidt, Noah Lowry, and now Tim Lincecum. Lincecum&#039;s changeup is really impressive to me. It&#039;s a pitch that was rated as average-ish when he came out of college but it&#039;s been a major weapon for him in the majors.

Schmidt&#039;s changeup was nasty, too. It&#039;s the pitch that helped him become dominant. When Lowry had his changeup going (ie: 2004) it was a thing of beauty. </description>
