As for Maldonado, I remember him mostly for that fact that my dad never forgave Maldonado for that missed catch where he slid on his butt in the '87 playoffs against the Cards! For RF, it's hard to get much more useless than the Candy Maldonado/Pat Sheridan platoon of puke in 1989. Candy hit .217/.296/.362 with his usual "O-Lay" defense. Sheridan was even worse at .205/.264/.329.
