The only element that could be construed as lackluster is his hit total, but that's because of all the walks he takes, robbing him of the opportunity to get a hit. Wasn't John Kruk the guy who had testicular cancer and lost a nut? Perhaps he lost more than that in the surgery? No, not lackluster at all, unless you are looking at his season with Bizarro eyeglasses or something.
