Obviously it doesn't jive as they kept him hanging around again, just in case he heals quick - HA! Think they would have learned by now: just DL him, let him heal all the way and not tweak it again, meanwhile Frandsen gets some quality starting time and if he's failing, Aurilia can play there and let Klesko and Sweeney play 1B.

Hey OGC,

Glad to see that I'm not the only one thats too worried about Ray. I think his recent injuries have carried into the batters box.

The DL idea is interesting because I think he recently sat out 3-4 games in a row? I like the notion of calling up young guys to fill in but I wonder if that jives with the organizations philosophy?

I'm not worried. Ray has been a very steady and productive hitter all his career and all his time in SF - when he wasn't injured.

When he tweaks something, the Giants should just DL him for 15 days to clear it up and let Frandsen play regularly, instead of making a game time decision on Durham for, like, 5-10 days before you finally DL him for like 5 days.

Instead of bringing up another MI, since we have Aurilia around to do that too, the Giants should just reward whoever is doing well with a call-up, with the stipulation that you use the guy while he's up here. Give him at least a start a week, to rest whoever it may be, or include him in the regular relief rotation, just put him in and try him out in different situations, even tough ones.
